We currently have the ability to supply and deliver a 32 square metre platform from stock, although should you require more, this can be arranged. These are transportable, versatile and widely used for a variety of applications. These systems consist of individual sections that can be assembled in different configurations to create a floating platform on water or across wet, muddy terrain. Here are some of the tasks that we’ve provided our pontoons for:

    Mooring

Modular floating pontoon systems are commonly used to create mooring points, where they provide a stable and secure platform for boats to dock. These systems can be designed to accommodate different types of boats, from paddle boards, small recreational boats to larger vessels.

     Floating Platforms

Floating pontoon systems can be used to create temporary event spaces on water, such as floating stages for firework displays, art works, promotional displays.

    Water Sports

Floating pontoon systems can be used to create water sports facilities, such as jet ski and kayak rental centres, or diving platforms for scuba diving and snorkelling, as well as start platforms for open water swimming and triathlon entry/exit points.

    Infrastructure & Construction

Floating pontoon systems can be used for infrastructure purposes, such as creating bridges or floating walkways. Modular floating pontoon systems can be used as a temporary work platform during construction projects on water, such as bridge repairs, inspections and stable bases for scaffold towers, as well as acting as a safety buffer around overhead obstructions. The images below show our pontoon on the River Avon in Bath allowing for the installation of flood protection windows.

    Environmental Uses

Modular floating pontoon systems can be used for environmental purposes, such as creating artificial reefs, restoring wetlands, or creating habitats for wildlife. They can also be used to protect wetlands and SSSI’s from damage from both pedestrian or vehicle traffic.

Modular floating pontoon systems offer a wide range of benefits to all users, from creating marinas to providing temporary event spaces and infrastructure. Their flexibility and adaptability make them a popular choice for a variety of applications on water. Using a mobile work platform will often work out much cheaper than using other methods of access.
